Education
Dr. Anand M completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training in MD General Medicine at Madras Medical College and Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai. He then pursued DM Cardiology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, followed by a two-year fellowship course in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He then joined as faculty in the Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing Unit.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Anand has received several awards, including the prestigious proficiency certificate in ECG reading from the Indian Society of Electrocardiography. He was also awarded the Dr.A.R. Vijayakumar Award for Young Scientist and the Dr.N.Kasirajan Award in the Quiz competition at the 7th Annual Conference of TAPICON – 2011. In 2016, he won the first prize in the Cardiology quiz held by ICC – Kerala chapter in Kovalam, Trivandrum. He topped the assessment in the First EP 101 Cardiac Electrophysiology workshop held at JIPMER, Puducherry on March 16 and 17, 2019. Additionally, he has made several oral and poster presentations at national conferences like the CSI.

Dr. Anand brings with him solid subject knowledge and excellent academic training. His areas of interest are the catheter ablation of complex atrial arrhythmias and physiological Pacing.
