Dr. Hariharan completed his undergraduate training at K.A.P. Vishwanatham Government Medical College, Trichy, and his postgraduate training in pediatrics at Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He then pursued his DM Cardiology from Madras Medical College, Chennai, and a one-year fellowship course in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He joined as a faculty at the Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing Unit, CMC, Vellore.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Hariharan received several awards, including the prestigious Alathoor Narendra Memorial Endowment Gold medal for being the best Cardiology resident in Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. He also won the Shri.B. Nagi Reddi Memorial Gold Medal in Cardiology. Additionally, he secured the first prize in the MMM Arrhythmia Heart Failure Academy Electrocardiology course in 2018 and 2019.
Dr. Hariharan is known for his strong subject knowledge and excellent patient care. He ensures that his patients have a comprehensive understanding of the risks and benefits associated with every procedure by providing detailed explanations. His patients greatly appreciate his exceptional level of concern. His particular area of interest lies in the management of pediatric arrhythmias.
